Main Toolbar

The top menu deals with the toolbars of 4DLab.

There are three toolbar available for the user. For our reference the icons have been numerated.

The Main Toolbar

  1. Print current picture
  2. New picture frame
  3. Save file
  4. Select background color
  5. Set coordinates axes names
  6. Open surface sections
  7. Select viewing distance
  8. Show XYZ Space predefined function lists
  9. Show equation editor
  10. Calculator

Plane And Surface Toolbar

The items in this toolbar are a subset of the text-only top menus. Here we provide the icons a a link to its full description elsewhere. The description shown here is the description that the user sees when he/she moves the mouse over the icon.

  1. Configure XZ-plane and surface.
  2. Set background picture
  3. Load a picture
  4. View tables (2)
  5. Y-axis illumination Yes/No
  6. Light color and intensity
  7. Main picture labels
  8. View Main Picture only
  9. Add a map to picture
  10. Transcomplex observer
  11. Show picture size
  12. Insert figure caption

Power Status Toolbar

Part 1

This is a scrolling toolbar that shows all the parameters in use in the function graph or surface. It shows:

Part 2

Click on the Section button to change from Part1 to Part2. 

Here the user will see the two equations that comprise the function to be (or is) parsed and graphed. Clicking on it will open the Equation Editor.

Part 3

Click on the Section button to change from Part2 to Part3.

Here the user will see again the function under work. Same as in Part1, but standing alone.

Progress Toolbar

This is a small scrollbar that is visible/invisible only during the rendering period.

Power Bar At Button

The user can choose between having the Power Bar at the bottom or at the top of the screen.
